Hadi Sacko was deemed surplus to requirements by Marcelo Bielsa once he took over at Leeds United, moving on loan to Spain.

Hadi Sacko might have hoped that he would find game time easier to come by in the Spanish second tier after falling out of favour at Leeds United.
But the jet-heeled Frenchman has not exactly set the world alight since moving to Las Palmas on loan this summer.
Sacko sealed a permanent move to Elland Road in 2017, joining from Sporting Lisbon for £1.5 million after spending the previous campaign on loan in West Yorkshire.
But, once Marcelo Bielsa arrived, Sacko was quickly out the door. According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the 24-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements and was omitted from all Leeds’ pre-season friendlies.
A season-long loan spell in the Canary Islands, then, felt like a fresh start. But, so far, Sacko has played just 59 minutes of Las Palmas’ first four league games in 2018/19.

He has not started a single match so far, coming off the bench on three occasions while being left out of the squad for a recent clash with Real Zaragoza. Understandably, given his lack of minutes, Sacko is yet to produce either a goal or an assist.
His frustrating spell in Spain has shades of his final season at Leeds, where Sacko started only one of his 14 Championship appearances.
Yosuke Ideguchi and Ousim Bouy barely featured during spells in the Spanish second tier with Leeds’ sister club Cultural Leonesa in 2017/18.
Sacko, however, has plenty of time on his side to make an impact at Las Palmas. And, blessed with such rapid pace, you can understand why the La Liga 2 club may feel that Sacko would be a useful impact substitute.
