Will Grigg stunned Premier League leaders Manchester City in the FA Cup on Monday night – and fans of Championship giants Leeds United were very impressed.

Have Wigan Athletic just pulled off the greatest FA Cup shock since, well, the last time they beat Manchester City in world football’s oldest cup competition?
Bradford and Lincoln City might have something to say about that but the fact is that Pep Guardiola’s City is arguably the best team we have seen in the Premier League era – and perhaps the finest side in European football right now.
Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and co will not be adding the FA Cup to their medal collection this season however, thanks to an error from Kyle Walker and a sublime finish from one Will Grigg.

With 10 minutes remaining at the DW Stadium on Monday night, Walker let the ball roll under his foot and inadvertently set Grigg away. Two touches and an inch-perfect, right-footed curler later and the League One title favourites were through to the quarter final at the expense of 10-man City.
But it was not just Wigan fans who were celebrating. Leeds United supporters have taken to Twitter to ask why they have not made a move for one of the most prolific strikers in the lower leagues – and some have even suggested that Grigg should be a priority in the summer.

In total, Grigg has 16 goals for Wigan this season, but that one, dream goal against Manchester City has Leeds fans clamouring for the Northern Ireland international to make the move to Elland Road.
