Robbie Gotts scored for Leeds’ U23s on Monday night but will Carlos Corberan’s favourite make his first Championship appearance soon?

Are you watching Marcelo Bielsa?
With Leeds United missing chance after chance yet again during Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic, Robbie Gotts once again offered a timely reminder of his qualities in the final third on Monday afternoon.
Leeds’ Mr Versatile players anywhere and everywhere for the U23s these days, splitting his duties between full-back and central midfield. But his movement and finishing was reminiscent of a seasoned centre-forward as he netted a consolation in a 2-1 defeat to Crewe Alexandra at Thorp Arch.

Spinning in behind the Crewe defence, Gotts latched onto a perfectly weighted Ryan Edmondson cross to clinically convert from close range.
It was the sort of coolly-taken finish, dispatched with unerring accuracy, that Biela’s first team were crying out for during those maddening defeats to Charlton and Swansea, not to mention those oh so avoidable draws against Nottingham Forest and Derby County.
With Mateusz Klich failing to fire in front of goal and with Pablo Hernandez looking a little tired of late, the 19-yer-old Gotts must be banging on the door for a senior debut now.
