Bradley Dack is driving Blackburn Rovers back to the Championship and Leeds United fans would love to see him at Elland Road.

It has not been a bad couple of days for Bradley Dack.

Fresh from being named the League One Player of the Season ahead of the likes of Nick Powell and Jack Marriott, the Blackburn Rovers talisman netted twice to secure a 3-1 win against Peterborough United on Thursday, which puts Tony Mowbray’s side in touching distance of automatic promotion.

Powering home a bullet header to cancel out the Posh’s opener, Dack then secured the victory late on with a clever clipped finish. Those were the 17th and 18th strikes of a prolific season for arguably the Football League’s most lethal goal-scoring midfielder.

And Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to express their hope that Dack is playing at Elland Road next season rather than Ewood Park.

The Sun (January 22, page 50) claimed that Leeds were very interested in the former Gillingham man, who Blackburn were understood to value at over £4 million.

And while Dack has not stopped scoring since, a lack of goals from central midfield has been a real problem for a Leeds side that has lacked cutting edge over the last few months.

The former Gills ace would bring another attacking dimension to West Yorkshire but, at the moment, it seems he has no reason to leave Blackburn.
