Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill has come on leaps and bounds this season and has piqued the interest of Leeds United.

Leeds United are hardly short of central midfielders but reports suggest they will add another to the collection in January.
The Mail claimed earlier in the week that Bolton Wanderers’ combative Josh Vela was on their radar. And TEAMtalk are now reporting that Bristol City ace Josh Brownhill is another name on Leeds’ shopping list.
Bronwhill’s contract at Ashton Gate expires in the summer and, while The Robins are desperately attempting to tie him down, it appears they will have to fend off interest from a number of suitors.

Leeds and Derby County are keen to keep the midfielder in the Championship while Newcastle United, Leicester City, Burnley and Bournemouth are all willing to hand him the chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
Brownhill is a hardworking, all round midfielder with three goals and two assists to his name this season for Lee Johnson’s high-flying City. Therefore, he would add both steel and style to Leeds’ midfield, while competing with Ronaldo Vieira, Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips for a place in Thomas Christiansen’s starting XI.

The 21-year-old has arguably been one of the most improved players in the Championship this season so it’s no surprise that his performances have caught the eye.
Though with other areas of Leeds’ squad more clearly in need of reinforcement, left-back, centre-forward and between the sticks to name but a few, some supporters would rather see the money used elsewhere first.
