Leeds United could raid the Spanish second tier again with the Championship side keen to sign Alex Gallar from Huesca.

Alex Gallar replaced Samu Saiz as Huesca last summer and, in a strange twist of fate, could now join him at Leeds United.
According to Diario de Leon, Leeds are planning another raid of the club currently top of the Spanish second tier, and they should know plenty about 25-year-old Gallar (above, far right), who played for Leeds’ ‘feeder club’ Cultural Leonesa last year and has links with the Aspire Academy.
If the success of Saiz (below) is anything to go by, the Spaniard could be a risk worth taking. Galler scored 20 goals in La Liga Santander last season and has a further five as well as seven assists in 2017/18 as Huesca edge closer to promotion.

Though it seems that, if Gallar does move to Elland Road, he will be arriving in West Yorkshire under a great deal of scrutiny.
After all, Saiz is perhaps the only player brought to Leeds last summer by director of football Victor Orta that can be considered a success. The likes of Felix Wiedwald, Mateusz Klich and Jay-Roy Grot have flopped spectacularly and, as a result, Orta has come under incessant fire from supporters, fed up with the club bringing in cheap, unknown imports.

Gallar may be a talented player but he is exactly the kind of signing the fans are keen to move away from.
Another foreign import who doesn’t know our league! I’d rather we scout Scunthorpe and other clubs in L1/L2, to see if they have hidden talent.
