Tyler Denton is on loan at League One Peterborough United from Championship pacesetters Leeds United.

Tyler Denton would have been hoping that his loan move to Peterborough United would go a little better than his spell at Port Vale last season.
But the young Leeds United defender has struggled to make an impression at London Road. 23-year-old Denton has not made a single League One appearance yet for Peterborough and has been left out of the squad for each of the Posh’s last seven games, including the 4-2 win away at Gillingham on Saturday.
According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Denton is now set to feature for the club’s reserves in their Central League Cup clash against Notts County.
Manager Steve Evans is keen for his fringe players to put pressure on the senior stalwarts, so Denton will be hoping he can catch the manager’s eye with the rest of his seldom-seen teammates.

Unless Denton forces his way into Peterborough’s team, his loan spell away from Leeds will seem like a missed opportunity.
With Barry Douglas starting all Leeds’ Championship games under Marcelo Bielsa at left-back, Denton’s long-term future at Elland Road remains uncertain.
