Liverpool could reportedly sell Pedro Chirivella with Championship clubs Leeds United and Nottingham Forest both linked.

Pedro Chirivella might not have been the most exciting transfer target that Leeds United have been linked with this summer. But, with so many moves stalling and falling through, supporters will once again be left frustrated if the player ends up joining another Championship club instead.
In June, Goal reported that Leeds were hopeful of signing the young midfielder on a loan deal from Liverpool. But ambitious Championship neighbours Nottingham Forest now appear to have leapt to the front of the queue.
The Mirror reports that Forest are interested in the Spaniard, with his £5 million price-tag unlikely to put off a side who have been willing to splash the cash all summer. Swansea City are also understood to be keen.
Leeds, then, could be in last chance saloon.

The problem is, however, that Chirivella does not appear to have much of a future at Anfield, spending the last two seasons on loan in Holland. It seems more likely that Liverpool would be willing to cash in than let the 21-year-old leave on another temporary deal.
So if Leeds really want to reinforce their midfield with the intelligent and composed Chirivella, they must be willing to offer £5 million in order to stand any chance of beating Nottingham Forest to a potentially excellent deal. Although, with money tight at Elland Road, that is easier said than done.
The ball is now in Leeds’ court.
