Pierre-Michel Lasogga scored ten times during a loan spell in the Championship at Leeds United last season and is now banging them in for Hamburg.

There has been a worrying trend developing recently for Leeds United.
You can count on both hands the amount of time Marcelo Bielsa’s side have dominated possession, only to waste chance after chance in the final third.
Profligacy cost Leeds dear in clashes against the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Brentford and Nottingham Forest, while they managed 72 per cent possession away at West Brom on Saturday but still contrived to lose 4-1.
All this has now got Leeds fans wondering whether they should have taken the chance to sign Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a permanent basis.

The big German striker might have the mobility of a wardrobe, hardly making him a natural fit for a Bielsa team, but there can be few doubts about his finishing ability.
Lasogga scored ten times in all competitions for Leeds last season and, while inconsistent, he was lethal on his day. Since returning to parent club Hamburg, the 26-year-old has scored 11 goals in 14 games to boot.
As a result, a number of Leeds fans are wondering whether Lasogga could have turned some of these frustrating draws into wins.
