Premier League giants Everton will have to fend off interest in centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori with Serie A side Lazio interested.

Ramiro Funes Mori has not played a single minute of football this season due to injury but his return to fitness has been greeted with a great deal of relief from Everton fans.
The Argentine international might not be the most consistent or composed of centre-backs at times but Everton’s defence has been so bad this season that Funes Mori will be welcomed back to the first-team fold with open arms.
He got through 70 minutes unscathed in an U23 clash with Swansea City on Monday evening and, considering the recent form of Michael Keane and Ashley Williams, should have no trouble forcing his way into Sam Allardyce’s starting XI.

Keane and Williams were dreadful once again in the 2-1 defeat to Burnley last Saturday and only Stoke, West Ham and Huddersfield have conceded more goals than The Toffees this season.
So it would make absolutely no sense for Everton to even consider selling Funes Mori in the summer with Williams and Phil Jagielka on the wrong side of 30 and The Mirror claiming that the big-money flop Keane could be sold on a cut-price deal.

But no matter how much money Lazio put on the table, Everton are in absolutely no position to sell Funes Mori right now.
