Odsonne Edouard has shone for Scottish Premiership champions Celtic this season to reportedly catch the eye of Serie A outfit Lazio.

One name leaps off the page when analysing Celtic’s Europa League draw.
After all, its just three weeks since CFR Cluj dumped The Hoops out of Champions League qualifying with an infamous 4-3 win at an incandescent Parkhead. The dominant forces of Scotland and Romania will now face each other twice more before the year is out and Celtic are already plotting their revenge.
But a two-legged clash against Lazio will also throw up a rather intriguing subplot.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a young French striker by the name of Odsonne Edouard is on a list of striker targets compiled by the Serie A giants.
In his third campaign at Celtic, Edouard is starting to look like a £9 million record signing. The former PSG starlet has scored five goals already as he looks to better last season’s tally of 23 and no one is wondering now why he was called ‘the rocket’ during his formative years in Paris.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon made it clear that the club have no plans to sell their star striker between now and the end of the transfer window, speaking to the Record.
But if Edouard continues his fine European record at the Stadio Olimpico, Celtic could find themselves in a rather awkard position. Lazio will be seeing this as something of an audition after all.
