West Bromwich Albion reportedly want to sign Benfica’s Filip Krovinovic and Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea.

That appears to be the attitude on show at a West Bromwich Albion side starting again under Slaven Bilic with a return to the Premier League in their sights at the second time of asking.
So far this summer, the Baggies have released three 30-something central midfielders with Gareth Barry, Wes Hoolahan and James Morrison all on their way out of the Hawthorns. Stefan Johansen, meanwhile, has returned to Fulham.
And in their place may be two promising young talents who could form a new, exciting partnership in the centre of the park.
According to the Mail, Croatian U21 international Filip Krovinovic is set to become a West Brom player on Thursday when he arrives on a season-long loan from Benfica.
The Express and Star claims that Chelsea’s 19-year-old Trevoh Chalobah could be on his way in, too, after spending the 2018/19 campaign at Ipswich Town.
The England U20 ace is a combative and energetic presence who will provide some legs and pace to a previously sluggish West Brom midfield. On paper, Chalobah should offer a platform for the likes of Krovinovic to cause havoc in the final third with his intelligent passing and vision in and around the box.
Suddenly, an area of West Brom team which looked one-paced, predictable and painfully slow could receive an injection of youth and legs.
