Everton’s £27million striker Cenk Tosun has struggled in the Premier League and has scored just three goals since Marco Silva took over the Toffees.

Kevin Campbell has encouraged Everton to sign a striker this summer to replace the struggling Cenk Tosun at Goodison Park, speaking to the Falcon Blues.
Big things were expected of Tosun when he arrived from Besiktas in January 2018, bringing an end to a protracted transfer saga with a £27 million move to Merseyside (Sky).
But, after a bright start to life on British shores, the Turkish international has found goals and playing time increasingly hard to come by.
He has scored just three times in 25 games in all competitions across 2018/19 and has fallen behind Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in head coach Marco Silva’s plans.
In quotes reported by the Liverpool Echo last week, Tosun admitted that he ‘could do better’ in front of goal – and it seems that Toffees legend Campbell agrees.
“I need to see a striker, whether we like it or not,” Campbell said.

“Since (Romelu) Lukaku left there’s been that gap there. Fair enough Tosun came in and he’s done okay but is he the answer?
“I don’t think he is. That’s unfortunate. (He) knows how to play but it’s that level above where you have to go to get a proper striker in there.”
It would hardly be a surprise if Everton decided to cash in on Tosun during the summer transfer window with the Liverpool Echo claiming recently that they were willing to accept a £7 million loss on a striker who has never really looked like making his mark at Premier League level.
