Portsmouth’s League One star Ronan Curtis is reportedly a target for Championship title-chasers Derby County, Leeds United and Middlesbrough.

Ronan Curtis’s flying start to life at Portsmouth has not gone unnoticed.
The 22-year-old winger has scored six goals and set up five more since arriving at Pompey from Derry City in June, firing the South Coast side to the top of the League One table and earning his first ever call-up to the Republic of Ireland’s senior squad to boot.
According to TEAMtalk, a number of Championship sides have already taken notice with Leeds United, Derby County and Middlesbrough understood to be keeping a close eye on the prolific Curtis.
But, speaking to The News, Portsmouth gaffer Kenny Jackett suggests that the interest has not reached fever pitch just yet.
‘We have not received any enquiries, we have not received any bids and that’s where all the talking stops,” Jackett said, while admitting that there has been no shortage of scouts at Fratton Park in recent weeks.

‘When the bids come in they go to a board of directors at any club. But there hasn’t been anything.”
Leeds, Derby and Middlesbrough are all fighting for promotion at the top of the Championship right now and Curtis, if he can step up again, would offer extra creativity and attacking thrust to whichever side wins the potential race to sign him in the New Year.
Leeds are perhaps the team most in need of reinforcements in attack due to the over-reliance on 33-year-old Pablo Hernandez.
