Dwight Gayle failed to make an impact as West Bromwich Albion conceded a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Championship rivals Brentford on Monday.

West Bromwich Albion only have themselves to blame after dropping two points at home to Brentford on Monday night.
The Baggies made and wasted a whole host of chances, with Jay Rodriguez and Hal Robson-Kanu the biggest culprits, before leaving Lewis MacLeod free to thump home an equaliser in stoppage time at The Hawthorns.
And, speaking on Sky Sports (4 December, 7pm), former West Brom midfielder Keith Andrews has criticised his side’s inability to make their early dominance count.
“West Brom were poor in the second half and never really got going and the way Brentford approached the second half with a lot more energy and confidence caused them a few problems,” said Andrews, who made 14 appearances for The Baggies in 2012.

“They will be kicking themselves, especially after the first half performance.”
Dwight Gayle came off the bench at half time against Brentford but failed to make an impact in a front three alongside Rodriguez and Robson-Kanu.
And although the Newcastle loanee has nine goals in 12 starts this season, Andrews believes that West Brom boss Darren Moore faces a problem getting the best out of the 28-year-old.
“I stand by what I said about West Brom where are they with Jay Rodriguez, Dwight Gayle and Robson-Kanu? I think with Dwight Gayle the balance just isn’t quite there with the front three.”
