Suso scored for AC Milan during their International Champions Cup clash with Manchester United, prompting a response from some Liverpool fans.

Between 2011 and 2015, Suso made just 21 appearances in Liverpool colours before being sold to AC Milan for just £1 million. Three years on, that looks like one of the costliest mistakes in the Reds’ modern history.
Because, while Suso was never really given a chance under Kenny Dalglish or Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, he has evolved into one of Serie A’s most feared attackers at the San Siro. And the gifted Spaniard reminded the Liverpool fans once again just what they are missing out on in the International Champions Cup.

In the glamour friendly clash between AC Milan and Manchester United, the 24-year-old equalised in quite terrific fashion. Timing a run to perfection to latch on to a raking Leonardo Bonucci ball, Suso fired a superb volley into the bottom corner with his weaker left foot.
This is the sort of individual quality that Suso has in his locker and the Liverpool fans seem bewildered as to why their club ever sold him in the first place.
The Guardian reported in June that the Merseyside giants would be keen to re-sign Suso after missing out on the likes of Thomas Lemar and Nabil Fekir. The one-time Spain international, who has a £43 million release clause in his contract, would certainly be welcomed back with open arms.
