Marcelo Bielsa’s Championship table-toppers Leeds United are reportedly plotting a bid to sign Swansea City attacker Daniel James.

Leeds United might have lost Samu Saiz but they have gained Jack Clarke.
The 18-year-old winger has exploded onto the scene in recent weeks, going from young prospect to super sub to key creative outlet. Leeds outclassed Derby County in Friday’s 2-0 win at Elland Road with Clarke, making the first league start of his career, setting up one goal before having a major hand in the second.
But could the jet-heeled teenager be joined at Elland Road by another of the Championship’s most exciting young wide men?
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are plotting for bid for Swansea City’s skilful Daniel James with Marcelo Bielsa approving a move for the Welshman, who is valued at around £3 million.
Unlike Clarke, James has been a regular starter in the Championship this season, featuring in Graham Potter’s first XI on 12 occasions. And he has been one of the bright sparks in a hit-and-miss campaign with his direct, busy style and ability to open up defensive lines catching the eye.

At the age of 21, James has huge room to grow and seemingly limitless potential. So, if Swansea are willing to sell, just imagine Clarke and James lining up in the same Leeds side.
With Bielsa at the helm and encouraging his young players to express themselves at every opportunity, it is a good time to be learning your trade in West Yorkshire.
