Premier League giants Everton could turn to Primeira Liga leaders FC Porto to solve their defensive problems in the summer transfer window.

Everton will be looking for defensive reinforcements during the summer transfer window.
FC Basel’s Leo Lacroix and Manchester United’s Phil Jones have both been linked with a move to Goodison Park in the last week and there is now another new name in the frame.
The 19-year-old certainly stood up to the occasion, scoring with a bullet header to set Porto on their way to a 2-0 win.

Now, the Portuguese U20 star would more than likely be one for the future rather than an immediate remedy to an Everton defence which stands statistically as the fifth worst in the Premier League right now, but the same cannot be said of another Porto centre-back who Everton have been keeping a close eye on.

Everton failed to sign Marcano in the closing stages of last summer’s transfer window but, one year on, should find it far easier to get their man provided they can see off interest from AC Milan.
But with both Marcano and Leite in demand, could Everton get two for the price of one from Porto this summer?
