Tottenham are exploring the possibility of a swap deal between Tanguy Ndombele and Milan Skriniar, according to the Guardian.
They report that Inter have made the midfielder a real target this summer, but won’t go to Spurs’ £45 million valuation.
That means that there is the possibility of a swap deal involving the 25-year-old Slovakian international.
Jose Mourinho apparently sees him as a potential replacement for the departed Jan Vertonghen at centre half.

Ndombele is clearly talented but his first season at Spurs did not ever get off the ground.
That was due to a combination of injury problems and struggles to adapt to English football.
Some Tottenham fans on Twitter would be happy to see the former Lyon ace depart after just one season in north London.
If it meant they could get Skriniar through the door to beef up a defence which has not proved as solid as Jose Mourinho’s backlines tend to be so far, some fans are clearly in favour of the idea…
