The 22-year-old England youth is a centre-back with plenty of potential and reflects the clubs plans to build for the future as well as the present.
But, in the cold light of day, will Hause be making a big mistake as soon as his pen hits the paper? The former West Ham youngster has played just seven minutes of Championship football all season long and has fallen behind Danny Batth, Roderick Miranda, Willy Boly and Conor Coady in the pecking order.
And Hause’s search for first-team football is not going to get any easier. The Express and Star report that Wolves will sign the £10.6 million-rated Boly permanently from Porto when promotion is secured.
And you can imagine that Wolves will be investing heavily in their squad during the off-season. If Hause cannot get into Nuno’s team now, what chance does he have when they are putting together a Premier League quality side?
This young talent might need to wake up, smell the coffee and leave.
