Premier League duo West Ham United and Fulham reportedly want Villarreal’s La Liga midfielder Fornals – but now Arsenal are in the frame.

Patience could be about to pay off for Pablo Fornals.
After a fine run of form in a stuttering Villarreal team, the 22-year-old midfielder emerged as a target for both West Ham United and Fulham, according to AS, with the Premier League duo apparently willing to trigger his £26 million release clause in January.
Fornals, the report adds, has more ambition than to join a side stuck in the bottom half of the Premier League table. AS claims that West Ham and Fulham simply aren’t good enough to convince the former Malaga youngster to pine for a change of surroundings.
Arsenal, however, feels like a more suitable fit for a player who has his heart set on reaching the top level.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal have identified Fornals as a potential replacement for out-of-contract Aaron Ramsey and the Spaniard certainly shares a few similarities with the long-serving Welshman.

Fornals is renowned for his quick passing game, his intelligent movement off the ball and his ability to time late runs into the box, even if his goals tally could do with a bit or work.
And if Arsenal do decide to prioritise the two-time Spain international, the decision to turn his nose up at West Ham and Fulham will make perfect sense. Fornals obviously felt that better offers would arrive – it looks like he was right.
