Championship duo Leeds United and Nottingham Forest could both do with reinforcements at left-back so what about Javier Garrido?

Nottingham Forest did plenty of business on the final day of the January transfer window but their failure to sign a left-back leaves Aitor Karanka’s side looking a little lopsided.
Forest have struggled on the left-hand side of their defence all season due largely to injuries so the decision to rip up Armand Traore’s contract and let him leave on a free to Cardiff City certainly looks a little questionable.

But Forest are not the only Championship side who could do with reinforcements to solve their problem position. Leeds United have struggled on the left all season long, and their cause was not helped when Gaetano Berardi was sent off in the 4-1 home defeat to Cardiff City which cost manager Thomas Christiansen his job.
Leeds lost Charlie Taylor to Burnley in the summer and the academy graduate has not really been replaced. Laurens de Bock arrived from Club Brugge last month, but it will take time for him to adapt to life in English football and, in truth, he could do with some back-up with both Berardi (below) and Vurnon Anita more comfortable on the right.

Garrido has knowledge of English football having spent a number of years at Manchester City and Norwich City. And, after leaving AEK Lanarca at the end of last season, he could be a bargain addition for any side in need of consistency and experience at the back.
Leeds, take note.
