Manchester City loanee Daniel Arzani will not play in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic this season after a cruel ACL blow.

The door has closed for Daniel Arzani for the foreseeable future.
The Australian wonder kid finally made the first appearance of his loan spell from Manchester City at the end of October, coming off the bench in Celtic’s 5-0 away win at Dundee. But one step forward has been followed by a substantial step back.
Because Arzani suffered what has turned out to be a serious injury in that brilliant win at Dens Park, a cruciate ligament injury robbing Celtic of the 2018 World Cup’s youngest participant for the rest of the season.
But, while the door has closed for Arzani, has it opened for another young Celtic winger who has barely been seen since he arrived in the summer?
Former youth team player Lewis Morgan returned to Parkhead after inspiring St Mirren to the Championship title last season, but he has made just five substitute appearances in the league so far, with injuries and the resurgence of Scott Sinclair limiting his game time.

Morgan’s route into the first-team could now have been made a little clearer with Arzani unavailable for the foreseeable future.
Having produced 18 goals and 13 assists in the second tier last season for St Mirren, Morgan deserves the chance to show that he can perform for Celtic.
