Tyler Denton has not made a League One appearance since joining Peterborough United on loan from Championship challengers Leeds United.

Tyler Denton would have been hoping to prove that he is ready to play for Leeds United during a season-long loan at Peterborough.
But his spell at London Road has not exactly gone to plan so far. The young left-back was criticised by Peterborough fans on Twitter after a disappointing debut in August’s 2-0 EFL Cup defeat at QPR.
And, so far, that is Denton’s only appearance in the Peterborough first-team with his last two outings coming in the much-maligned Checkatrade Trophy.
But is Denton starting to turn things around? For the first time since August, former Leeds manager Steve Evans included the 23-year-old in his match day squad for a League One fixture, even if Denton did not get off the bench during the 2-0 win away at Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

This is certainly a step in the right direction. The test for Denton now is whether he can force his way into Evans’ starting XI between now and the end of this season.
With Barry Douglas and youngster Tom Pearce the only left-backs in Leeds’ first-team, Denton will be hoping there is still a place for him at Elland Road.
