Championship title challengers West Bromwich Albion were reportedly keen to bring Hugo Rodallega back to English football from Trabzonspor.

Earlier in 2018, a number of West Bromwich Albion fans took to Twitter to express their fury about a supposed bid for Hugo Rodallega.
According to Gunes, the Baggies had offered £5 million to bring the former Wigan Athletic and Fulham striker back to English football.
Although Rodallega had a respectable record in the Premier League, it is not difficult to understand why West Brom supporters were underwhelmed by those surprise links with a 33-year-old plying his trade in the Turkish Super Lig.
But maybe the cynics were a little too quick to scoff at the prospect of Rodallega moving to The Hawthorns. Because the former Colombia international has been in very impressive form so far this season.
He has scored five goals in seven league starts for Trabzonspor, helping his side to fifth in the table. In fact, Rodallega is just one away from matching his tally from the whole of last season.

Fortunately for West Brom, however, they are not exactly suffering from a lack of firepower right now.
With the likes of Jay Rodriguez, Dwight Gayle, Matt Phillips and Harvey Barnes in fine form, Darren Moore’s side are the most prolific side in the Championship with an impressive 31 goals in 12 games.
