Cardiff City reportedly offered £13million to sign Victor Camarasa permanently from La Liga outfit Real Betis in January.

Victor Camarasa’s spell at Cardiff City appears to have gone a little sour.
The 24-year-old has emerged as a real fan favourite since moving to South Wales on loan from Real Betis last summer, with his classy style and eye for the spectacular making him a key figure in an otherwise industrious Neil Warnock side.
But Camarasa has not started a Premier League game in over a month now and has found himself at the centre of a bitter row with Cardiff’s top flight status on the line.
Warnock clearly believes the Spanish schemer is fit to play but his own medical staff disagree.
“I’ve never come across the situation I’ve got at the moment,” the 70-year-old told the Telegraph in typically outspoken fashion.
“We’re having physios and medical people from abroad telling us what we can do with him when he is our player. He obviously listens to his physios, his medical people and Tom, Dick and Harry from abroad.
“There’s nothing we can do about that.”

This unseemly situation threatens to overshadow what has been an impressive debut season in English football and could perhaps cast doubt on a permanent move to the Welsh capital.
Mundo Deportivo reported in January that Cardiff offered £13 million to sign Camarasa in January, some £10 million short of his release clause, but the midfielder allegedly wants to wait until the end of the season to make a decision.
If there is no resolution to this current situation, or if Cardiff are relegated with the club currently in the bottom three, it seems unlikely that Camarasa will stay.
