West Ham United reportedly want to bring David Okereke to the Premier League but they will face competition from Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Just one day after West Ham United were linked with Spezia forward David Okereke, reports from Italy have made clear the size of the challenging facing Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Tuttoemercatoweb claimed on Tuesday that the Nigerian U23 international had emerged as a transfer target for The Hammers with the summer window looming large. At the age of just 21, Okereke has emerged as Spezia’s go-to man during an outstanding breakthrough campaign in which he has scored 10 goals and supplied 12 assists.
But West Ham are far from the only club to take an interest in the speedy striker – far from it.
According to FC Inter News, Inter Milan have been watching Okereke for a number of years and the Nerazzuri are now expected to step up their interest – particularly with doubts surrounding the future of former captain Mauro Icardi.

The report claims that Inter will send scouts to watch Okereke in action as Spezia aim to secure promotion to Serie A via the play-offs.
Interestingly, Tuttomercatoweb reported in January that Crystal Palace were keen on one of Africa’s brightest talents and The Eagles cannot be ruled out of the chase just yet.
