Lukas Fabianski was brilliant for Swansea City despite their relegation from the Premier League and Liverpool fans want him at Anfield.

You have got to feel for Lukas Fabianski. He was one of the most impressive goalkeepers in the Premier League in 2017/18 but still ended the season in 19th place and heading for the Championship.
Fabianski produced heroics time and again for Swansea City but, with not a single one of his teammates performing to the same exceptional levels, the South Wales side succumbed to the drop.
But Fabianski can at least take some heart in knowing that he will surely be playing Premier League football next season, if not at the Liberty Stadium.

But Liverpool fans would love to see their club join the race, too.
Loris Karius, for all his improvements in the last four months, remains deeply unconvincing and Liverpool supporters believe Fabianski would be a better option than, say, a £40 million deal for Stoke City’s Jack Butland.

The Guardian reports that Fabianski wants to be a number one next season. But, although he is not one of the most glamorous ‘keepers on the market, the former Arsenal man would probably just about edge out Karius on last season’s form.
Liverpool’s answer to Edwin Van der Sar anyone?
