Will Huffer could make his Championship debut on Saturday with Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United suffering a goalkeeping crisis.

Leeds United will be desperate to bounce back from that 4-1 thrashing at West Bromwich Albion in their first game back after the international break at home to Bristol City on Saturday.
But head coach Marcelo Bielsa has been dealt a rather unwelcome headache with Bailey Peacock-Farrell unavailable against The Robins after suffering an injury. This came less than a week after Jamal Blackman broke his leg during an U23 clash, bringing an immediate end to his loan spell from Chelsea.
Without another senior goalkeeper at their disposal, Leeds have applied to the EFL for special dispensation to bring in a shot-stopper on an emergency loan with West Brom’s third-choice Jonathan Bond understood to be an option, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.

But it seems that Leeds fans on Twitter have given their backing to 20-year-old Will Huffer instead.
The 19-year-old hasn’t made a single first-team appearance for Leeds but is on track to make his debut against Bristol City, though Pole Kamil Miazek is also an option at Bielsa’s disposal.
Now, Huffer is understood to be very highly regarded within the walls at Elland Road. And, who knows, maybe he could follow in Peacock-Farrell’s footsteps and come from nowhere to establish himself in the first-team?
