Allan Campbell inspired Motherwell to the Scottish Cup final and showed why Premiership leaders Celtic should have a look.

It will have become very clear to Scotland manager Alex McLeish that he has no shortage of talented young midfielders at his disposal.
And Motherwell teenager Allan Campbell is the latest to emerge from a nation which had for far too long prioritised brawn over brains.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of Scotland’s most exciting prospects this season and, if he continues to perform like he did during Motherwell’s 3-0 Scottish Cup semi-final thrashing of Aberdeen on Saturday, it seems only a matter of time before the league’s big fish start to swarm.

Campbell produced a masterful performance in the centre of midfield against Derek McInnes’s Dons, out-muscling Aberdeen’s creative talents with his energy, dynamism and full-blooded will to win.
It was the sort of performance that should have Celtic, who are frequently on the lookout for exciting homegrown talent, drooling.
The Scottish Champions seem keen to revive their midfield in the off-season with the likes of John McGinn and Youssouf Mulumbu linked with a move to Parkhead in 2018.

And while Campbell is less experienced than the Hibernian and Kilmarnock stars, he is a player with a great deal of potential who would learn a lot training and playing alongside Scott Brown in green and white.
Motherwell fans think Campbell is a star. How long until Celtic take notice?
