Celtic paid £2million to bring Ukrainian winger Maryan Shved to the Scottish Premiership from his native Ukraine.

Maryan Shved is confident that he can make the grade at Celtic as he enjoys a superb run of form over in Ukraine, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
The Premiership champions caused a shock in January when they signed the little-known winger for £2 million before loaning him back to Karpaty Lviv until the end of the season.
Few had heard of Shved outside his homeland, and Celtic fans on Twitter were quick to question whether he would be another underwhelming addition made by the much-maligned recruitment chief Lee Congerton.
But Shved’s displays in recent weeks suggest the Hoops might just have a star on their hands.
He scored his 14th goal of the season over the weekend, a 97th minute equaliser in a Ukrainian Cup quarter-final against Inhulets, although Karpaty went on to lose on penalties.
Speaking after the game, however, Shved made it clear that he is full of confidence as the biggest move of his career draws closer.

“I feel like I am improving all the time and adding goals to my game has been a bonus,” he said. “We are now third in the league and we’re playing well. For me to score the five goals (in my last three games) has been brilliant.
“I go to Celtic in the summer and I feel I can handle the move. I am playing with confidence and influencing games.”
Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers appeared to question the decision to bring Shved to Glasgow before he left for Leicester (Sky) but whoever replaces the Northern Irishman on a full-time basis could have a player with huge potential within his grasp.
