Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly set to make a January bid for Liverpool outcast Divock Origi.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have some of the richest and most ambitious owners in English football in Chinese billionaires Fosun International. And with super-agent Jorge Mendes, Wolves have managed to lure seasoned, proven professionals like Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho to Molineux.
So with a prolific striker needed to take the club to the next level, surely they could do better than Divock Origi? That is the attitude of a number of supporters anyway with reports once again linking Wolves to the Liverpool outcast.
The Liverpool Echo claims that Wolves are expected to make a January bid for the 23-year-old Belgian international.

But should they really be willing to pay £20 million for a player who has not played a second of first-team football all season? For that money, there may be better value to be found elsewhere.
Former Manchester City favourite Edin Dzeko, for example, has made no secret of his desire to return to the Premier League after three prolific seasons in Italy with Roma. Calciomercato reported recently that the 32-year-old Bosnian could cost a similar fee to the one being demanded for Origi.
