It was an uncharacteristically quick start from Arsenal against Bournemouth.
Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to call on Arsenal to start games with more intensity after their 3-1 win against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Gunners made hard work of a home fixture that looked routine on paper, Eddie Howe’s visitors impressing with their fearless, possession-based style only to be denied a deserved result by a double from the inspirational Alexis Sanchez and a clinical Theo Walcott header.

However, despite appearing sluggish in the latter stages of the first half as the likes of Dan Gosling and Harry Arter dictated the tempo at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal started the game with unusual vigour.
Nathan Ake was forced into two crucial blocks to deny goal-bound efforts from Mesut Ozil and Mohamed Elneny early on before the hosts took the lead just after the ten minute mark as Sanchez profited from an under-hit Steve Cook back-pass.

And Wright, often an outspoken critic of his former club’s performances, has taken to Twitter to ask why such a flying start is so rare from Arsene Wenger’s title chasers.
The Chilean’s early goal meant Arsenal have now scored inside the first 15 minutes only three times in the Premier League this season, with their campaign characterised by a number of dramatic late goals so far, including last-minute winners against Southampton and Burnley (below).
