Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wanted to bring Jarrod Bowen to the Premier League after he scored 16 Championship goals for Hull City.

Hull City star Jarrod Bowen has admitted to the Hull Daily Mail that he was flattered to be linked with a number of Premier League clubs during the January transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur allegedly leading the chase for the young forward.
The 22-year-old has been the jewel in Hull’s crown this season, scoring 16 goals in 31 Championship starts, with Nigel Adkins’ side emerging as genuine dark horses for a place in the play-off positions.
As a result, Bowen caught the eye of Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Burnley while Spurs were understood to be willing to offer £12 million, according to the Mirror.
And the former Hereford United youngster has admitted that the level of interest caught him by surprise, even if his outstanding form meant that speculation was inevitable.
“It’s surreal when you see your name being linked with these big teams, but that just shows how well I’m doing. Sometimes I have to pinch myself and say ‘I am a good player’,” Bowen said.

Bowen adds that he is happy with life on Humberside right now and his full focus is on taking the Tigers back to the Premier League.
If he continues his fine form in the second tier, however, the chances of him staying at Hull beyond the summer will look increasingly unlikely with Tottenham seemingly identifying the prolific forward as a star for the future.
