Lucas Joao’s impressive Championship form for Steve Bruce’s Owls could reportedly earn him a move to Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town are interested in adding a much needed striker to their ranks in the shape of Sheffield Wednesday targetman Lucas Joao, according to the Examiner.
The Terriers have already been relegated from the Premier League with their lack of quality in the final third proving fatal. They have scored just 20 goals in 35 top flight games, the lowest in the division by a long way.
And the Examiner believes that Huddersfield could turn to Joao as the man to fire them out of the Championship next season.
The 25-year-old, who has a couple of caps for Portugal, has scored ten times in 30 games for Sheffield Wednesday during the 2018/19 campaign making this his most prolific campaign for the Owls since he arrived four years ago from Nacional.
Joao could replace Laurent Depoitre, who is expected to leave the John Smith’s Stadium when his contract expires in July.

The Sun (7 April, page 61) recently claimed that Wednesday would be willing to sell Joao this summer – but only if they receive offers of around £8 million. Will Huddersfield pay that fee?
A new striker would be priceless after all.
