Leeds United’s Championship title-chasing manager Marcelo Bielsa was spotted watching League One high-flyers Barnsley on Saturday.

Marcelo Bielsa just doesn’t stop. The Leeds United manager is enjoying a hard earned break right now with the international weekend meaning Leeds United have had no league games this weekend.
Though Bielsa’s need for a football fix encouraged him to take the short trip down to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon. The legendary tactician was spotted in the stands as The Tykes beat Luton Town 3-2 in dramatic fashion to cement their place in third in the League One table.
But what was the reason for Bielsa’s trip? Was he simply enjoying an exciting game of football or is there a reason for Barnsley fans to be concerned?

There are certainly a few who seem to be worried by potential Leeds interest in a number of their key players heading into the January transfer window.
Bielsa will no doubt have been impressed by highly-rated midfielder Brad Potts, who took his tally to five this season with a smart finish from the edge of the area against Luton.

Defender Ethan Pinnock has also turned heads this season with his fine performances while Alex Mowatt, who was a key player at Leeds between 2013 and 2017, has been impressive of late too.
