Newcastle United are reportedly keen to bring Joelinton to the Premier League from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window.

Hoffenheim’s director of football Alexander Rosen has stated that Newcastle United will face huge competition if they want to sign Joelinton in the summer transfer window, while speaking to Bild.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has emerged as a potential signing for the Magpies on the back of an impressive first Bundesliga season in Hoffenheim colours. Joelinton has scored ten goals in all competitions, with his blend of pace and power perhaps making him an upgrade on Salomon Rondon.
Sport1 sensationally claimed that Newcastle could pay around £52 million for the 6ft 1ins centre-forward, which would see the club smash the transfer record they set in January when bringing Miguel Almiron to St James’ Park.
And, speaking to Bild, Rosen has responded when asked about whether Joelinton is on his way to Newcastle.
“To be honest, there is not one, there are not five, there are dozens of clubs that are interested in him,” Rosen said.

“We have developed great strength to be able to say no – which we have proven in the past times.”
Bild adds that Hoffenheim turned down a bid of around £45 million from an unnamed Chinese Super League club in the January transfer window, with Joelinton a huge part of their plans going forward as Julien Nagelsmann aims to lead the club back into Europe.
Joelinton is under contract until 2022.
