Everton are expected to appoint Marco Silva as their new manager but will he attempt to raid his former side Watford for Richarlison?

With Marco Silva the favourite to be appointed the new Everton coach, as reported by The Guardian, it seems only a matter of time before his former Watford talisman Richarlison is tipped to follow him to Goodison Park.
But while many Everton supporters would be than happy with the appointment of Silva, who the club famously tried and failed to appoint in the autumn before plumping for Sam Allardyce, it seems Richarlison would be less welcome on Merseyside.

It has been a mixed first season in English football for the Brazilian winger. The 21-year-old joined last summer from Fluminense for £11.5 million and was a revelation initially at Vicarage Road, striking the fear of god into the respective defences of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
But that ferocious form has tailed off dramatically since the turn of the year. The last of Richarlison’s five Premier League goals came in November – all of 26 games ago. In that time, he seems to have developed a prospensity for missing sitters too.
And while that could be put down to a the inconsistencies of a young player and the fact that Richarlison has played almost constantly in the last year, it is clear that he could do with another season at Watford before a big-money move to another Premier League side seems like a good idea.

Silva might be better off leaving Richarlison at Vicarage Road.
