Tyler Walker is really making an impact since leaving Championship chasers Nottignham Forest on loan, scoring 12 times for League Two Mansfield Town.

Nottingham Forest have one prolific striker in Lewis Grabban right now but that does not mean the fans should forget all about Tyler Walker.
The 22-year-old is on loan from Forest at League Two outfit Mansfield and he is seizing his chance to make an impact away from the City Ground. Walker failed to impress during a spell at Bolton last season but there have been no such problems at Mansfield, where he has scored 12 goals in 26 games in all competitions.
Walker hit a match-winning brace as The Stags beat Stevenage 3-1 away from home at the weekend and, after the game, team-mate Ryan Sweeney could hardly hide how pleased he is with the striker’s progress.
“He’s been brilliant this season,” Sweeney told iFollow Stags. “You can see the quality he’s got, not only in the box but his link up play is fantastic and his movement is brilliant.
“He seems to find that yard (of space inside the box).”

Walker certainly appears to have developed a reputation as a penalty box predator during his time at Mansfield and will no doubt return to Forest when his loan spell comes to an end as a much more rounded and mature footballer.
Whether Aitor Karanka believes that Walker has a future at the City Ground remains to be seen. Since taking charge almost a year ago, the Spaniard has loaned his young striker out twice already.
