Liverpool made Marko Grujic their first signing of the Jurgen Klopp era and he is starring on loan in the Bundesliga.

Hertha Berlin director Michael Preetz feels Liverpool have a real star on their hands in Marko Grujic and has tipped the Serbian to enjoy a bright future at Anfield, as reported by Goal.
Grujic became Jurgen Klopp’s first signing on Merseyside when Liverpool paid £5.1 million for the Red Star Belgrade wonder kid.
The 22-year-old has only made eight appearances for Liverpool in the last four years however, but his superb performances during a loan spell in Berlin suggest that he will be a linchpin in Klopp’s starting XI in the near future.
Hertha coach Pal Dardai has claimed that Grujic is the best midfielder he has ever seen in the German capital while Preetz seems to share his manager’s opinion.
“Marko is an example of a player with quality, which we can usually not afford,” Preetz told Goal.
“But we can get him for one or two seasons on loan. And in the future he will be a real asset for Liverpool.”

Grujic has scored three goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season and it is telling that Hertha have won just one of the ten games in which he has missed through injury.
Grujic himself admitted that he would love to stay at Hertha for another season if Liverpool feel he is not ready to fight for a first-team role at Anfield, but his performances must have caught Klopp’s eye.
