Premier League duo Manchester City and Southampton reportedly want to sign Aaron Hickey after his stunning derby winner against Hibernian.

Aaron Hickey is living the dream right now.
The Hearts academy graduate scored a stunning late winner in the Edinburgh derby away at arch rivals Hibernian on Sunday and now he’s being linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester City, not to mention Southampton. What a couple of days it’s been for the teenager.
Pep Guardiola only wants the best at City and the manager who turned Sergio Busquets, Raheem Sterling, Joshua Kimmich and many, many more into world-class footballers would relish the prospect of getting his teeth into a 17-year-old left-back with the world at his feet.

Like Guardiola, Ralph Hasenhuttl dreams of building a squad full of exciting, hungry young talents and Hickey, a potential long-term successor for Ryan Bertrand, is precisely the sort of signing the former RB Leipzig boss is hoping for.
According to the Scotsman, interest is rising with Hickey’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.
So no wonder Hearts are desperate to tie down their derby hero to a new, long-term deal with the management and the fans united in the belief that keeping Hickey at Tynecastle is pretty much non-negotiable.
