Celtic decided against signing Manchester City youngster Thomas Agyepong under Ronny Deila – now he’s reportedly heading to Scotland with Hibs.

Four years after an unsuccessful trial period with Celtic, Thomas Agyepong could finally be set for a move to Scotland.
According to the Scottish Sun, Hibernian manager Neil Lennon is looking for reinforcements after losing both Brandon Barker and Jamie Maclaren. And the Edinburgh side are now in talks with Premier League champions Manchester City over a loan deal for the Ghana international Agyepong.
And should the jet-heeled 21-year-old sign on at Easter Road, he will have a point to prove to the other Scottish Premiership side wearing green.
The Scottish Sun adds that Agyepong had a trial at Celtic in 2014 but then-manager Ronny Deila decided against offering him a contract. And the Accra-born winger could soon have the opportunity to make Celtic pay.

The youngster is known for his rapid pace and ability to run fearlessly at defenders with the ball at his feet. He is the kind of instinctive, old-school winger that Celtic’s squad is lacking now that Patrick Roberts’ two-and-a-half year loan spell from Manchester City has come to an end.
Now, Scott Allan enjoyed a terrific loan spell at Hibs from Celtic last season while Efe Ambrose, a man ridiculed by some Hoops supporters, was particularly solid at the back in his first season after arriving from Parkhead.
And if Agyepong shines in Edinburgh, Hibs could once again leave Celtic fans feeling that pang of frustration.
