Nantes’ Ligue 1 ace Emiliano Sala is reportedly a target for Premier League duo Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Mbaye Diagne could be set for the biggest move of his nomadic footballing career.
After spells in Italy, France, Belgium, Hungary, China and Turkey, the 27-year-old striker could be on his way to England for the first time. According to ESPN, Wolves have held talks about signing Diagne after a red-hot spell with Super Lig outfit Kasimpasa.
The Senegal international has scored 24 goals in just 29 league games since arriving from Tianjin Teda last January and, on paper, could be the prolific striker that appears to be the missing link at Molineux.
But could Wolves’ signing Diagne also be good news for Everton?
Like Wolves, The Toffees also seem to be in the market for a new centre-forward despite majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri claiming to talkSPORT (9 November, 11am) that January activity would be limited at Goodison Park.
It is expected that Oumar Niasse will leave in the New Year and Cenk Tosun could go to, perhaps explaining why Everton are reportedly keen on Nantes’ £25 million-rated Argentine target-man Emiliano Sala (The Mail).

The 28-year-old is in the form of his life with 11 goals in 10 Ligue 1 starts, and could finally fill the Romelu Lukaku-shaped hole in Everton’s frontline.
Wolves share an interest in Sala, The Mail add, but signing Diagne would surely take them out of the race. Full steam ahead, then, for Marcel Brands and Everton.
