Dwight Gayle is impressing in the Championship during his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion from Newcastle United.

If anyone truly believes that the Chinese football bubble has burst, consider this: Dwight Gayle could be in line to earn a £200,000 a week contract if he makes a lucrative move to the Far East.
As reported by the Mirror (9 September, page 50), the former Peterborough United and Crystal Palace striker will be offered a huge move to China once his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion from Newcastle United comes to an end.
And these reports are certainly more worrying for West Brom fans than they are for those of a Newcastle persuasion.

Gayle has enjoyed a superb start to life at The Hawthorns, scoring three goals in five games including a stunning brace in the recent win against Stoke City. Understandably, many Baggies fans would love to see their new centre-forward tied down to a permanent deal.
It is fair to say Newcastle supporters, however, are welcoming interest from Asia. Gayle appears to have no future under Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park and the prospect of making a huge profit on a fringe player represents a brilliant financial opportunity.
