Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to hand 2014 La Liga champion Filipe Luis a second chance in the Premier League.

Another long-serving fans’ favourite appears to be about to bid an emotional goodbye to Atletico Madrid.
Lucas Hernandez, Diego Godin and Juanfran have already strolled off into the sunset and Brazil international Filipe Luis now appears to be closer than ever to the exit door.
A 44-time Brazil international who was part of that Atletico side who stunned the watching world by pipping Barcelona to the 2014 La Liga title, Luis’ future has been subject to intense speculation with his contract expiring this summer.
And his replacement has now been secured. Renan Lodi, 12 years Luis’ junior, has signed from Athletico Paranaense for a fee of £22 million, according to Football Espana.
So if Wolverhampton Wanderers want to bring one of this generation’s most accomplished and experienced full-backs to Molineux, this is their chance.

Goal claimed in June that Wolves were willing to overlook Filipe Luis’ difficult 2014/15 season at Chelsea and hand him a second chance in the Premier League. Even at the age of 33, he has so much left to give and there few better players in world football for the rising star Ruben Vinagre to learn from.
And with Wolves ready and waiting to compete on the continent too, signing a two-time Europa League winner like Filipe Luis would put down a real marker.
He’s not finished yet. And leading Wolves into Europe would be a fitting end for a player who is at his very best when embodying that underdog spirit.
