Adam Lovatt and Jamie Fielding have spent time on trial at 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City but did they impress Brendan Rodgers?

Jamie Fielding and Adam Lovatt spent time on trial at Leicester City recently and Hastings United manager Chris Agutter believes the young duo made a fine impression at the King Power Stadium, while speaking to the Hastings Observer.
TEAMtalk broke the news earlier in April that Fielding, a cultured 19-year-old centre-back, was training with the 2016 Premier League champions ahead of a potential permanent move to Leicester.
He was joined by his fellow Hastings youngster Lovatt, according to the Bexhill-on-Sea Observer. The teenager, who came close to joining Sunderland in January, is a dynamic central midfielder who has been a key player for the Arrows despite his young age.
And Agutter believes that Fielding and Lovatt have put themselves in an excellent position as they look to earn a contract at one of the Premier League’s most exciting sides.
“Very good,” Agutter said when asked about how the duo had done with the Foxes.

“(Leicester manager) Brendan Rogers I believe, Kolo Toure and all the rest of it were there, and they thought they were part of the academy set-up already; they didn’t realise they were triallists. They did really well.”
Given that Rodgers is a man famed for his ability to improve young players, from Raheem Sterling to Moussa Dembele, Joe Allen to Kieran Tierney, Leicester could be the perfect destination for two of the most impressive youngsters in Non-League football.
