Ademola Lookman struggled for chances at Everton in the Premier League so joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in the January transfer window.

Cast your mind back to January and Everton manager Sam Allardyce really was not happy with Ademola Lookman when the winger refused to join Derby County on loan and instead pushed for a move to RB Leipzig.
But Lookman, like so many young English talents recently, wanted to spend time abroad and broaden his footballing horizons in another nation.

Since getting his Leipzig career off to the perfect start with a late winner against Borussia Monchengladbach on his debut, however, the former Charlton Athletic man has kicked off just three games in the Bundesliga.
And Allardyce simply could not resist the temptation to send a rather emphatic ‘told you so’ in Lookman’s direction.
“He hasn’t played as much as he wanted to,” Allardyce said in quotes reported by the Liverpool Echo.
“His gripe with me was he wasn’t getting picked but in all fairness he’s had very limited experience on their pitch as well, hasn’t he.”

Lookman is facing an uncertain future at Everton just over a year after he arrived from Charlton for £11 million.
Leipzig’s sporting director Ralf Rangnick has admitted that he would be keen to keep the speedy attacker at the Red Bull Arena on a permanent deal and the Liverpool Echo claims the Toffees would be open to offers.
