Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes is reportedly a target for Championship side West Brom.

Harvey Barnes should be very proud of his progress throughout the 2017/18 season.
The Leicester City winger enjoyed a fine breakthrough year thanks largely to an impressive loan spell in the Championship with Barnsley. He scored five goals and set up four more for The Tykes between August and January and ended the campaign with three Premier League appearances for The Foxes under his belt too.
And reports from the Birmingham Mail (live blog) are now claiming that Barnes is set for another spell in the Championship. It is understood that West Bromwich Albion are close to signing the youngster on a season-long loan.
Barnes, who won the Golden Boot as England’s U20s won the Toulon Tournament last summer, is expected to replace the Stoke-bound James McClean at The Hawthorns. And, just to add to the speculation, the 20-year-old started following West Brom’s official Twitter account on Monday as rumours of a move to The Baggies swirl.

Interestingly, Barnes recently started following Leeds United’s Twitter feed too, though there have been no rumours so far that the speedy attacker is on the radar of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
But blessed with pace, creativity and an eye for goal, he would be an excellent bargain signing for a side who seem to be struggling to fund deals for new attackers.
However, it seems as though Barnes is West Brom-bound, who will be aiming to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking after a woeful Premier League campaign last season.
