Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United reportedly want Benfica’s Joao Felix but is he bound for Premier League champions Manchester City.

Manchester City are now leading the Europe-wide chase to sign Benfica wonder kid Joao Felix ahead of what could be the summer’s most eye-catching transfer saga, as reported by the Sun.
A 19-year-old midfielder who has been likened to Kaka, Johan Cryuff and Manuel Rui Costa among others, Felix has exploded onto the scene with a marvellous debut season in the famous red shirt of Benfica.
Felix has scored 12 goals in all competitions, including one in the recent Clasico victory against FC Porto that saw Benfica overtake them at the top of the Primeira Liga table.
TEAMtalk reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers are hoping to enlist the help of super-agent Jorge Mendes again to lure the teenager to Molineux while West Ham United have also enquired about his price-tag, according to AS.
As it stands, however, Manchester City appear to be the most likely destination.

The Sun reports that Pep Guardiola’s side are set to win the race for a player with a staggering £105 million release clause. City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain held talks with Benfica after their 3-0 Europa League victory against Dinamo Zagreb last week.
And it is claimed that Felix would be open to a money-spinning switch to The Etihad, with City looking for a long-term replacement for David Silva.
Wolves and West Ham have a tough task ahead of them.
