If Ryan Sessegnon leaves Championship side Fulham, he’ll have to choose between Premier League giants Spurs and Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

It is a sign of Tottenham Hotspur’s progression as a club that they are used to facing off against Paris Saint-Germain the transfer market.

Spurs have signed two players from the runaway Ligue 1 leaders since last summer, right-back Serge Aurier and Brazilian winger Lucas Moura, while also beating them to the signature of highly-rated Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth.

Though with Ryan Sessegnon set to be at the centre of a rather viscous game of cross-continental tug-of-war this summer, Tottenham will be hoping they have the upper hand on their Parisian adversaries again.

According to The Mirror, if Sessegnon does leave Fulham for another English club at the end of an astounding individual campaign, he will pick Spurs. The 17-year-old, who has 14 Championship goals in 2017/18 and a £50 million price-tag on his head, likes the idea of working with Mauricio Pochettino, a manager renowned for honing world class talent.

Nethertheless, the chance to work alongside Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Thiago Silva and co at the Parc des Princes would undoubtedly prove tempting.

It is understood that PSG are looking for reinforcements on the left with neither Layvin Kurzawa nor Yuri Berchiche players of genuine top quality and are very interested in a player likened for Gareth Bale due to his surging runs down the flank, per The Mirror.

So, not for the first time, Tottenham could find themselves at the centre of a boardroom battle with PSG. Fortunately, they have come out on top of late, nabbing Foyth while securing Aurier and Lucas for respectable fees.
